Download configuration

Keep a JSON copy of your saved Guardy settings for your own records. Configuration export is free on every plan and requires Manage Server or Administrator.

Download your settings

  1. Open Settings in your server's dashboard.
  2. Save any changes you want to include.
  3. Find Download configuration and choose Download JSON.

The download contains saved settings only. An unsaved change in the dashboard is not included. Keep the file somewhere private: it can contain message text and the channel and role IDs you configured.

What is included

  • General server settings and module switches.
  • Levels settings, reward roles, multipliers, no-XP zones and the default rank card.
  • Welcome & Goodbye and Auto Roles settings.
  • Custom commands, saved embeds, auto-replies, scheduled messages and sticky messages.
  • Reaction-role menu drafts and their options.
  • Birthdays, Temp Voice and Server Counters settings.
  • Upcoming Community events, with their time, channel, capacity, reminder and repeat settings.
  • Invite Tracker settings and reward roles.
  • Suggestions, Reminders and Economy settings.

Each file includes a version, export time and a coverage list. A one-off scheduled message includes its scheduled time. Empty collections mean that section has no saved configuration.

What is not included

The first version excludes Moderation, AutoMod, Server Logs, Tickets, Forms, Starboard and Creator Alerts configuration; Economy shop, earning roles and multipliers; bot identity, AI settings and staff access settings.

It also excludes member records, saved member birthdays, AFK reasons, RSVPs, balances, message logs, activity history, billing details and stored service credentials.

This is a settings record, not a restorable backup. Guardy does not currently import this file or rebuild a server from it. Channel and role IDs refer to the original Discord server.

For a copy of your personal Guardy data, use personal data export instead.

If the download fails

Check that you still have Manage Server or Administrator, then refresh the page and try again. After several downloads in a minute, wait a minute before retrying.
