Reaction Roles

Use Reaction Roles to let members choose safe interest, notification, or access roles for themselves.

Build a role menu

1. Choose a text channel and add the roles members may choose.
2. Choose Buttons for an accessible menu with up to 25 roles, or Reactions for an emoji-based menu with up to 20 roles.
3. Choose whether members may take multiple roles, only one role from this menu, or a role they can only add.
4. Write a clear title and labels, then publish.

Guardy needs to post in the channel. Reactions also need Add Reactions and a different emoji for every option. Guardy's role must sit above every selectable role.

Keep it safe

Offer only roles members may safely grant themselves. Do not add staff, moderation, billing, or other privileged roles. A role used by an autorole or XP reward cannot also be in a role menu.

Test every choice with a member account. Changing a live menu's channel or switching between buttons and reactions posts a new message, so check the new message and retire any old one.
