Invite Tracker
Use Invite Tracker to see which invite likely brought each new member, who created it, and how many real members each inviter has brought in. It is a free module and it is off until you turn it on.
How attribution works
Discord does not tell a bot which invite a member used. Guardy keeps a count of every invite's uses, reads the counts again when someone joins, and credits the invite whose count went up by one. That is why the dashboard and commands say an invite likely brought a member in.
Some joins cannot be matched honestly, and Guardy records them as unknown rather than guessing:
- two or more people joining at almost the same moment, so the counts do not say who used which invite
- joins through Server Discovery, the server widget, or an app that adds members directly
- invites created or used while Guardy was offline or restarting, including the first join after you turn the module on
- a server where Guardy does not have the Manage Server permission, which Discord requires before it shows invite use counts
Joins through your server's vanity URL are recorded as vanity URL. Bots added to the server are recorded as bot joins and never count toward anyone's invites.
Set it up
- Open Invite Tracker in the Guardy dashboard and turn the module on.
- Check that Guardy has Manage Server. The dashboard tells you if it is missing.
- Review the fake-account rules. By default a member counts as fake when their Discord account is less than 7 days old when they join, or when they leave within 24 hours of joining.
- Optionally add reward roles, then invite a test account to confirm the join appears in the recent joins list.
How invites are counted
For each inviter, Guardy counts joins within your server's history window:
- Joins are members attributed to an invite that person created.
- Left are those members who have since left, outside the fake-account window.
- Fake are joins that matched a fake-account rule.
- Invites is joins minus left minus fake.
The history window follows your plan: 30 days on Free and 90 days on Premium. Older joins are deleted and stop counting.
Reward roles
A reward role is given to an inviter once their invite count reaches the number you set. Free includes 3 reward roles. Premium has no fixed limit.
Guardy only adds reward roles. It never removes one automatically, even if an inviter's count later drops because members leave or their joins age out of the window. Remove a role yourself if you need to. Guardy skips a reward role that sits above its own highest role or that is managed by an integration, so keep reward roles below Guardy in the role list.

Where attribution appears
- The recent joins list and the leaderboard on the dashboard page.
- The member joined line in Server Activity, when that module is on. It reads "Joined via" followed by the invite code and who created it, "Joined via the vanity URL", or "Join source unknown".
- The Join Gate hold notice in your moderation log, so moderators can see which invite a held member likely used.
The dashboard also lists your server's current invites with their creator, uses, and expiry, and lets an administrator revoke one.
Privacy
Invite Tracker stores the joining member's Discord ID, the inviter's Discord ID, the invite code, the join source, and the join and leave times. It does not store message content. Rows are deleted after 30 days on Free or 90 days on Premium. A member's data export includes rows where they joined or invited someone, and an erasure request deletes their own join rows and removes their ID from joins they invited.
