Server Insights

Open Server Insights in your server's dashboard to see recorded messages, busy times, member growth, command requests and participation in Guardy features. It is free on every plan, with no setup required.

Choose a period

Choose Last 7 days or Last 30 days. Both include today. Dates use UTC so every chart uses the same daily boundary. Today is still in progress.

What the numbers mean

FigureWhat it counts
Recorded messagesNew messages from people in server channels Guardy can see, including messages later removed by moderation. Bot messages, webhook messages, system messages and DMs are excluded. No message text or member identifiers are stored for this figure.
Recorded member changeRecorded joins minus departures. Bots and members who rejoin are included, so this is not a count of unique people.
Members earning XPMembers whose latest XP award falls within the selected period. Each member counts once. This is not a daily active-member count.
Command requestsRecorded requests for Guardy's built-in slash commands and context-menu actions. These may include failed or rate-limited requests. Custom commands and direct messages are not included.
Giveaway entriesEntries made during the period. One person can enter more than one giveaway.
Forms submittedForm submissions recorded during the period.
Polls posted and giveaways startedPosts actually published to Discord, rather than drafts.
Creator alerts sentAlerts recorded as sent to Discord.

The command chart shows daily requests, with the top eight commands listed below. Use the links beside feature activity to open its dashboard page. The Tickets link opens the existing ticket reports, with their own availability and filters.

Find a time for your next event

Message activity shows when conversations happened, grouped by UTC day and hour. This is recorded activity, not a prediction of who will attend an event. Hours without observations remain missing rather than being filled with zeroes.

When there is enough history, Create event uses a busy recorded time to prefill the event start. Review the date and time, add an event name and channel, then save. Opening the form does not create or post anything. The event form displays the selected time in your server's timezone.

Compare complete weeks

The 7-day view also compares the last seven complete UTC dates with the seven before them. These comparison periods exclude today and are labelled separately from the charts, which include today. Where collection coverage is insufficient, the comparison says so instead of showing a misleading percentage.

The 30-day view does not compare against a previous 30-day period. Insights retains the latest 30 UTC dates, so a full earlier period is not available.

Reading member growth

Member growth begins when Guardy starts observing this feature in your server. The page shows the first retained observation and how many days have observations. Earlier history is not reconstructed.

No data means a day has no recorded observation. It does not mean nobody joined or left. The first observed day and today can be partial, and events missed while Guardy is disconnected are not filled in later. Growth records cover the latest 30 UTC dates, including today.

Other figures use retained records. Deleted or expired records can reduce those figures, and zero is not proof that no activity happened. Message collection also starts prospectively: old messages are not scanned or backfilled. Activity missed while Guardy is disconnected, or during a failed counter write, cannot be recovered. This page does not measure voice hours or individual attendance.

Refresh and access

Reload the page or change the period to fetch fresh figures. Member observations are refreshed about every five minutes; message and command counts can take about a minute to appear. You need Manage Server or Administrator to access the dashboard.

For the record of individual server changes posted to a staff channel, use Server Activity. For personal XP rankings, use Levels.
