Use Polls when you need a visible, time-limited community decision.

Set up a poll

1. Choose a channel where members can see and use polls.
2. Write one clear question and add the answers in the order members should see them.
3. Choose whether each member can select one answer or multiple answers.
4. Set how long it stays open, then post it now or schedule it for later.

Guardy needs permission to create polls in the chosen channel. Keep public polls free of personal or sensitive questions.

Follow up

Open the poll in the dashboard to see its status and captured results. You can cancel a poll before it posts or ask Guardy to end a live poll early. If a scheduled poll fails, check the channel permissions and retry it.

Test an unimportant poll first, then share the outcome and next step with participants.
