Auto Roles

Use Auto Roles to give the right starting access when someone joins.

Choose who receives what

1. Open Auto Roles and choose roles for people who join.
2. Optionally choose a separate set for bot accounts.
3. For a new-member perk or trial role, choose when a human role should be removed.
4. Save after confirming Guardy's role is above every selected role.

4. Member roles

Do not automatically grant owner, moderation, billing, or other privileged roles. A role used as an XP reward or in a reaction-role menu cannot also be an autorole.

Check the join experience

Join with a test person and, if relevant, a test bot. Confirm the expected role appears and a timed role has the right removal time. Existing members are not a substitute for a join test.

If a role is missing, move Guardy's role above it and confirm Guardy has Manage Roles.
